I understand very basic music theory (pitch, notes, chords, keys etc.). I hear a lot of people saying 'ear training' but what does it mean?
Does it mean I can be able to catch any note played from a piano? If that's the case, isn't that extremely difficult? Cause there are like 88 keys on piano!
Or I will hear a particular note first with its pitch given to me, then I will hear the test note and I will have to guess what note is it based on the first note? that is, I will have to catch the interval?
Whatever it is, Can you point me some online link or app for practicing this? I don't have any music teacher and internet is my best resourse.
Thanks everybody!
