I've tried mixing songs before and I guess I get too lost because I feel like I'm running around playing with things and it always ends up not sounding amazing. I love mixes like the chainsmokers do. And I'm just wondering if there's a set process that works that can help me. I normally try cutting bad frequencies, expanding the good ones, and then setting different eqs on each track to flip on and off on in different sections of the song and my mixes are a LOT better but still not up to par with say, Synchronice, or Chainsmokers, Avicii, Deorro, Kaskade, Alesso, etc. What can I do to make my mixes have that IMPACT?
