My internal SSD reads at ~500MB/s so I'm worried that if I get an external HDD that reads at 140MB/s it's going to be a workflow killer. Has anyone had experience with this?
I would rather not go the SSD alternative, which reads at ~300MB/s, since it costs more than twice as much for half of the storage space.
