So I'm a full time student working towards a computer science degree and I work on the weekends. With any of little free time I manage to get I like to work on music production. Since I'm nearing the end of program there wasn't enough classes for me to take during our summer quarter which means I'll have a few months to focus on music. Right now my hardware/software setup includes ableton, serum, massive, maschine studio, and a midi keyboard. My plan is to make a schedule that I will try to stick to throughout the summer with the hopes of improving my skills as much as possible. I'm not going to stress about getting it done every single day but I feel like if I have a template to follow I will be able to get the most out of my summer break in terms of getting better at production.
Below is the basic schedule I have brainstormed so far. I have been creeping this Reddit for a few months now and wanted to reach out to you guys for any advice. If you have any ideas for making this a better schedule or things I could add to it please let me know. I'm looking forward to this summer and hope to see a lot of improvement by the the time I return to classes. If you took the time to read this or decide to offer suggestions it is greatly appreciated!
