So I'm a hobbyist who puts stuff on soundcloud and bandcamp. I haven't tried spotify because I thought it was subscription only, but I think I can set up an artist account for free. Has anyone here posted their music on spotify for free? How does spotify compare to soundcloud in terms of underground/unknown artists?
