I taught myself a little guitar and drums when I was a kid and have since been using fruity loops and ableton. It's been 10 years now and I'm still at a place where it's difficult for me to finish projects. I've never been truly satisfied with anything I've rendered.
I think some of my biggest issues are that I find it difficult to find the right sounds because getting everything to sit nicely in a mix is always an uphill battle. As a result, I struggle with structure. I need to fix this now because I'm at a point in my life where it's now or never. This is my passion and I need to get a sense of accomplishment with my projects.
How can I improve?
