hi all! wondering if all of you could shed some light on a problem i've been having recently. i use an ipad mini into focusrite itrack dock for my backing tracks live. usually this works perfectly, but recently with certain soundboards (usually digital) it glitches and sounds like a dying robot on one specific spot of one specific song. i think it's on my end but i'm not really sure how to safely/surely troubleshoot the issue. so i'm wondering a few things: could it be an issue with updating drivers? i'm using vlc for playback--could this be a problem? if it's a specific song could it be an issue of rendering? (seems unlikely since it doesn't happen everywhere) could it be an issue w focusrite into digital board? could it be bass frequencies shaking the literal connection? so many possibilities... lastly, do any of you have a better solution for high quality live playback if this isn't a reliably solvable situation? i want a really minimal set-up and don't like bringing my computer everywhere because it's my whole life--really want to minimize issues with performance problems and find a non-temporary, smart solution. thanks so much!
