I just started producing some simple future bass tracks. I usually start out with some chord prog's that I like. I don't know much theory, so I just pick a key that sounds nice and press some random diatonic 7th chords to make chord progressions. The thing is, that I find it's extremely hard to make catchy melodies when I try to write them over chord progressions. Every time I try to write some melodies, I feel like I'm stuck. If you guys got some nice tips to share, I'd appreciate it. Thanks.
