I change the melody, chord progression, and bassline, but it still sounds like a loop. Doesn't have that natural flow of a song. It's getting better, but the theory behind the arrangement is eluding me. Does anyone have any good sources that explained it to them in a way they understand? I have checked resources (btw half those links are broken) and I got a little help but is there anything else? I have been watching Busy Works Beats and he has a lot of knowledge but I'm not trying to pay money monthly just to learn, I can just tough it out and teach myself. Thanks in advanced for taking the time!
Edit: If you want to hear what I mean I posted the song in weekly forum. I have been making changes since that recording due to some criticism I got already, but if you are just curious. (Or just want to see how a complete jackass thinks you should sidechain)
