I hope this makes sense. I've kinda noticed that in couple drops by some of my favorite artists that they have a bass that will have an upward or downward inflection without actually changing pitch?? I have no idea how this is achieved. There's movement I can't quite pick out what's being done. The first example that comes to my mind is the main bass drop from Kill the Noise's remix of like a bitch. It's a seemingly simple bass on its own but the way it's sequenced seems (to me anyway) to have some kind of upward and downward movement that I can't quite pick out and it's not pitch. Thoughts?
