I was going to work on my newly created project. I had no intention of getting as far as I did. I just wanted to create / modify a sound for a percussion instrument.
Well, I did that and a whole lot of other shit. I composed a whole bunch of other sounds for the piece and it felt great. I have never gotten a track so close to a more professional sounding song before. I think it has to do with the balance of musical activity. Generally, my tracks are just a tad too sparse in terms of instruments and sounds (I'm not dissing minimal or anything, I'm aiming for deep house and do not want to hit minimal).
Anyway, did anybody else have a small (or large) breakthrough today in their producing?
