Hello! I have been messing around with FL Studio and other DAWs for a little under a year and I am currently using a YAMAHA MG10XU USB mixer straight into my computer with an Audio Technica AT2020 going into the mixer. My problem is that whenever I record, it records my voice from the mic and also computer noises. For example; In fl studio I want to record me playing guitar with the metronome running in my ears. I start recording play guitar then I end recording and I can hear the metronome in the back of the recording. Another example; I go into Audacity to try and see if the problem is just with FL Studio so I hit record and wait like 30 seconds and start pressing the volume button on windows to play that sound to see if it will pick up. Sure enough it did along with my voice. I need help to see what I am doing wrong. I have seen hours of videos of people just plugging a mixer into the computer and recording with zero problems. Also this problem means that I cant record a harmony of a guitar part because the recording will double the audio in the first part and have a sort of delay and it is just bad...
