So we're probably all music producers in here, and we all want to get noticed. I managed to get noticed by Fedde Le Grand (once the number 14 DJ of the world), and he actually gave some feedback on one of my tracks. Here are the two most important tricks he told me:
1) Use Manley Massive Passive EQ to create more sparkling leads. The plugin is pretty expansive, but it's definitely worth it.
2) To make your song louder, use FabFilter-L on your master channel and put it on clipping. I know louder isn't always better, but according to Fedde, it's really useful to turn the volume up a bit.
I hope these tricks are useful. Good luck!
