I've seen them mentioned and was wondering how to properly use them (I'm in Ableton). Do you shift them forward (before the beat) or back (after it)?
Also what's the best way if shifting this in ms increments in Ableton? I know you can use a delay with 0 feedback and 100% wet to shift them backward, but what if I want them to hit early? Do I have no choice but to nudge them forward in each clip? I'd much prefer it to be universal so I know it's consistent.
