Like the title says, I'm wondering if anyone knows how one could go about getting that fullness/loudness of sound. I imagine it has to do with mixing and mastering but is there like a great resource for simplifying the process? Maybe some general rules?
For example, should one compress each track individually or just overall? In anyone knows any great youtube videos they could recommend, I'd be grateful! Or is it something I'm just going to have to suck up and read the entire books suggested in the resources?
