I bought Serum through the Splice rent-to-own plan a few months back. Before I started renting I had a torrented version of Serum with the program to edit the registry files included. The problem here is that while I have a new version of Serum downloaded, I still only have access to the old one from Oct. 2015. I contacted Splice support a few times and they haven't been able to help me.
What I found out is that the Serum desktop app renews the license every couple days so that you can use Serum while you're offline. I tried deleting my old torrented version of serum and the registry editor but after the couple days is up, the Splice app doesn't renew the registry and Serum only notices that my registry isn't around anymore.
I'm not very familiar at all with registries or any in depth computer stuff, so this is all foreign territory to me. I just want the Splice app to renew my registry files. If anyone can help me at all, I'd really appreciate it.
