Hi guys
Thanks for looking at my post and I really hope you will read through it all.
I have created music for around 3-4 years now and I feel like I am at a place where my music productions are pretty good, but I really want to take my productions to the next level (just like everyone else i guess).
But my problem is that I have so many technical problems (DAW crashing, lagging, CPU problems etc...) everytime I come close to a finished project which means I rarely finishing anything.
It all starts out fine, but when I load more and more stuff the problems begins to occur, and the problem is that I can troubleshoot the problem(s), because it seems random when and where the problems comes from. I have a lenovo laptop (Intel Core i7-4720 HQ CPUT @ 2.60GHz 16 RAM), so I guess the problem isn't my computer, right? I have all driver updated.
I'm using FL Studio 12.3 64 bit therefore I have posted a lot of technical questions on the image-line forums and that helped me a little bit, but it's nothing compared to the bigger picture.
I guess some (maybe all) problems comes from 3'rd part plugins like Fabfilter Pro-Q 2, OTT, Kickstarter, LFO Tool's, Nexus, Serum, Kontakt etc etc... I must acknowledge that some of the 3'rd party plugins are cracked, but most of them are not, which means almost all of them are updated.
But even if I don't use the cracked ones, I still get the problems. That is also why I can't find the solution. It would make sense if the cracked ones caused all the problems, but they don't.
I use RME Babyface pro as soundcard (running through ASIO Fireface USB).
So my question is, do you guys had any similar experience with the problem(s)? If so, how did you solve them? ALL help is really appreciated!
I wish I could come up with more information to you guys, but at this point I can't, because I just don't know what else to say.
