everyone speak about chord prog, but some music don't have any "real chord" ?
they just have some stab for the attack or something.
everyone tell me mix is not the point. really ? ..
I like this type of result, what there is chord in there ? .. https://soundcloud.com/monxxbeats/monxx-turbo-dab
how do you "produce" this type of idea you just grind synth for thousand of hours ?. he have some weird lead on the bass I don't get it.
bonus : just to be sure, I m learning everything like a slave of music, I love it, but still after 1k hours learning video and making hours in ableton ( 1k ableton 500 hours video ) software tell me. ( I start learn in the early 2016 but I don't work I just do music at home. )
this is not about hours, I know this, but I like to know how many hours I did in it. ( like video games hooked me on knowing how many hours )
Should I be worried ? I learn with producer and everything, but can't be happy with my production they just sound weak even with spectrum fuller etc..
if you tell me I just need to dig music for 2k hours this is not dramatic, just want to know if some producer struggle as me ( for years ) because they want to control and know everything. I try to learn everything ( synth kick, synth serum ( everything ), how to mix, volume/gain/fade/ bus things / every effect in the daw, because I like to have a total control and knowing what I m doing exactly. ) I learn sidechain, shaping, design all type of sound with serum.
but I m now learning what I shouldn't do in the "art" part. like don't waste my time tweaking stupid things. I m kind of a guy easy lost in everything. ( since I m born )
my life is like skyrim, I see the boss dragon main quest, but I m too deep in the forest hitting goat haha for their skin you know, and after make a farm, and make my own preset.
just want to know how many hours "~" for being like the pro
Would I get instant reward after a while learning in no order ? where I should really focus.
I just want to know if every good producer take more than 2 years being good and how is that normal after doing it for 2k hours I m still trying to figure out how to end a song. ( I do everthing even tell me to myself my mother will die, if I don't finish song, and I see myself tweaking kick, when I want to control something it takes the time it takes. ) but after many many hours tweaking, I know what is good or bad tweaking, so I m thinking, the one who tell me I lost my time have been wrong in some way.
some lvl I want to have :) https://soundcloud.com/certified/quok-tea-sora-remix-edmcom-exclusive https://soundcloud.com/alonmormusic/sandbox https://soundcloud.com/excision/throwin-elbows
Quantity over quality.. why ? for real ? if you tell me for not being sad about producing this is not a thing for me. I m sure the day will come, I just want to know, when.
sorry bad english
