Where do these Artists get these Unique Hard Sounding Vocals before the drop?

I know there are tons or sample packs out there with them, but how do they get the unique ones? Like RL Grime - Core "Who do the shit that I do?" Or like this Snavs Song - Smoke? Do you think Artists hire vocalists to do it or just sample songs or what? What do you do?
