I've been looking at books to read on the topic.
I am not new to programming at all, so there's that.
Anyway, this is a fairly simple question.
These are three books I am looking at:
The Audio Programming Book
Designing Software Synths
Designing Audio Effects
And possibly this one:
Getting Started with JUCE
My main question is if I read these books (since they mention VST3), just how deprecated would it be to work on VST2 plugins (because Ableton doesn't support VST3 yet as far as I am aware).
And is JUCE worth learning? I know some frameworks catch bad reps (like SynthMaker).
