Okay, so first off: I consider myself to be very fortunate to be in this predicament, but it is still weird for me to navigate.
When I send out a track for release, I always send it to one realistic label. We'll call them LABEL A, and one "reach" label (a major label that I doubt I will get on), we'll call them LABEL B.
LABEL A has only about 2k Followers but has released a lot of great artists early in their career.
LABEL B... let's just say they are in the 50k Follower range and their releases are regularly featured on blogs podcasts.
My current situation is that I sent out my track to both about 3 weeks ago. I received almost immediate feedback from LABEL B (the longshot) saying they liked the track and would "road test" it before agreeing to sign the track.
Just last night however, LABEL A got back to me saying they are ready to sign the track for release in early 2017.
Sooooo my question is: Is there a way to email LABEL B to kinda expedite their next feedback email without sounding like a dick? I am obviously suuuuuper down to release on both A and B, this would be more for my own peace of mind. THANK YOU!!
