Hello all.
I have been reading Mike Seniors Small Studio Mixing Secrets (HIGHLY recommend, fantastic book) and had a few questions regarding stereo width that I couldn't find very easily online.
I have been using FL studios Stereo enhancer to widen up my synths and was confused with the fundamentals of the plugin
My question: Say I widen the synth by 5.0 ms, how does this translate into panning? In terms of percentages, would splitting the signal by 5.0 ms be a 25% pan to both sides, 50%, 75%? I am just not sure how milliseconds translate to the position on the stereo field.
I hope I have explained this well enough, I greatly appreciate any and all feedback.
