Is there a Mac application that can reliably convert audio to midi?
I'm looking to sample other chords from tracks, but take the midi as opposed to the audio sample.
I've had success doing this in Ableton by EQing the sample so only the chords are audible and converting to a new melody/harmony. I've also had some success by monitoring the notes displayed in the EQ. But both methods are not very reliable.
Any ideas?
