Say,10 years ago the music scene was not this advanced. It took years to understand the process of making great music. It took hours of dedication.
Sorrows and pains were there. Failure was there. But now, those producers are our inspiration. Their words and suggestions still help us to stay motivated and accept the fact that not everyone can become famous or can "MAKE" it to the industry.
Trance. A beautiful genre which makes you emotional. Makes you think about your life. Makes you experience a new world. And A State Of Trance is a big influence why people are knowing and knew about trance music
ASOT reminds us of Armada. Armin and countless artists. Sub labels
Each and everyone wants to get signed to a label. Armada is ofcourse a dream label.
But what are the requirements? Can passion and hard work take you there? No. There are more requirements.
If you want to make a place to people's heart, they don't care if your tracks are superloud. Take a normal friend. Send him a basic track with good melody,no mixing,no mastering. He will love it. Because everyone is not a music producer.
Now,there are cheaters. Who finds shortcut and fakes fame. Fakes tracks.
DJing is easy. ABCD. Anybody can DJ. At this point ofcourse you know everything about it.
So, this guy Saad Ayub made a remix of "Tenishia - Where Do We Begin (Saad Ayub & Sunset Remix)" along with Sunset.
Where Do We Begin (Saad Ayub and Sunset Remix) - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Z2qs6oXoyc8
Nice remix. Also was announced as the future favorite on ASOT 719. A great achievement for a producer.
In 2016, Saad Ayub released a track called "MOVE ON" along with the trance queen Jennifer Rene.
Move On (Extended Mix) - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ic4b2V5OtZ8
If you hear both of the tracks. You will notice something.
Here what you will notice:
Open your DAW. Put two of the tracks one after another and play it at the same time (Like you use reference tracks). You will notice "MOVE ON" has the EXACT same arrangement, sounds,fx as Where Do We Begin.
Move On was well received by people. BARELY anyone realized that it was actually rip off of their remix of Where Do We Begin.
That means, people who bought their remix back in 2015,bought the same track in 2016 with new vocals and FEW changed chords
This is ripping off people and their money.
How cannot labels notice this? So,you mean everyone can get signed to a label? Suppose if someone buys a TEMPLATE, change the chords and releases that to public, will it be accepted?
Then the money we put to buy that track is going in vain. Because we put TRUST,LOVE and FAITH upon our favorite producers.
And as a fan,we have RIGHTS to ask our producers legit questions. We,the FANS make artists famous. Imagine if everyone was a music producer, researcher then there would be no fans literally.
So,say we hear that track in a festival and say,it changed our lives. But our life changed on the basis of a fake track where there is no dedication of the artist for real.
Now,here is the FUN part.
Someone asked Saad Ayub on twitter = "@SaadAyub @TheFPIA With all respect Saad, why did you JUST change the melodies of Where do we begin Remix and put out "Move on?" Explain pls."
Here is his first reply,
"Lmao what?"
That guy replied back = "@SaadAyub Move On was created with the template of Where Do We begin with some changed chords."
And again Saad replied saying Why is that guy TROLLING. And later he deleted his reply.
Then the guy replied back -
"Really? You call this a troll? So basically we bought the same track twice, but with new chords and vocals."
Saad Replied back =
"I brought same tunes ten more times find those too? It's called signature sound"
Now this is where it gets funnier. A SIGNATURE sound can be described as the
LEAD of "Denis Kenzo".
Omnia's pluck and vocal chops
David Gravell's Kick and the bassline
and various
How can the use of a Same Template can be a SIGNATURE SOUND? Or using the same template is now styled as Signature Sound? Nope.
Then that guy replied =
"@SaadAyub Signature sound and Putting same arrangement has a huge difference. We do NOT hate any artist."
Then Saad Ayub replied back with a Star Wars gif which said " I DON'T GIVE A FUCK"
Now ofcourse he got triggered. As a fan and a listener ofcourse he has the right to ask why both of the tracks sound same.
Then in reply that guy said "@SaadAyub Ofcourse you don't give a fuck about the truth. Where do I even begin?"
Then this is where the fun began. Saad's manager tweeted that guy back saying,
wtf are you on about? Care to share some of your own work? Oh, you have none? Right."
Now,let's break this down. When a listener asked Saad Ayub why he used the same template,he told that guy he doesn't give a fuck and later his manager started calling out that guy saying "What the fuck?"
Wasn't that the manager's duty to ask Saad Ayub "What the fuck?" "Why are you using the same template?"
then in the manager's reply, the guy sent him this reply.
"Ofcourse we have.
Listen to Where Do we Begin Remix
Listen to Move On
Tell me how's this a signature SOUND"
His manager then replied -
"you do? Awesome, please send it over for critiquing. Thanks!"
So, what it means is, if I ask you,hey man,why did you use the same template you used in another track?
You get mad. You start swearing. You call this a troll Your manager joins Asks to show him MY tracks.
So basically to listen to your tracks I need to be a PRODUCER? Please mark this.
Okay. It doesn't end here.
You've heard about ACTIVA. He is a great artist who has not released any track lately.
His templates are sold in several websites.
So, Saad Ayub released another track which is called "DAYLIGHT"
Here is the link to the official music video = https://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=youtu.be&v=3CVHnpwTeTA&app=desktop
So,when I heard that track it seemed to familiar to me. I was scrolling through the comments and found a comment,
"Interesting what tunes can come out of Activa's template."
I immediately recalled it and checked out the template playthrough video which is this.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cEQsB5VDD-s
Exactly the same, with some added percussions,a LITTLE time difference and vocals.
This track is also well received since it has been released in a MAJOR trance label.
Note : Respect to all the vocal artists. They are great.
In an interview,Saad Ayub said, "Armin van Buuren loves his tracks".
Let's break this down. Armin is a super busy guy. He barely gets time to meet all the artists signed to his label personally. Even Dimension met him after a long time.
So,if Armin knew someone on his label is ripping of their own tracks over and over would he still like him? And the fun part. In ASOT 700 celebration, Saad Ayub gave an interview to Armin and we could see clearly Armin doesn't known him personally and met him for the first time.
And again, let's break down one of his tracks since his manager asked to show him a track.
Link : https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=75JAZRIvrYk
This track is called "Lost in Translation"
There is a 2:03 second build up. From 2:04 - 3:25 there is a breakdown. And right after that there is a drop which is BARELY completed. It seems the breakdown already had the drop.
From 3:25-4:49 when it was supposed to be a drop, there is no main melody. The so called DROP sounds like another intro build up.
In short = Drop Not found.
If a producer asks him about this, then imagine what he could say?
So,all the trance producers are working so hard to make a name for themselves and there are producers who calls fans a troll, swears on him,his managers starts calling him and asks for tracks to Critique.
And here is more,
So we all know the Legend Paul van Dyk and his track For An Angel.
Saad Ayub did a Mashup/Remix of that track.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EO6nASscmw0
Here is the link.
I am sure everyone is aware of the vst NEXUS and their common presets. At 0:44 you hear the preset BINARY voice with a very basic arrangement. All in all,it ruined the original For An Angel so bad! Not only it has the preset, the overall track sounds very bad produced and ofcourse it's not a track which deserves to get supported on radio shows
Some tracks and remixes are actually BAD.
So,trance was supposed to take us to a new world. And here I see nothing but CHEATING.
Merzo left the internet. Armada said to everyone to spread and share LOVE.
And when Saad Ayub was asked a question he started swearing. So,maybe this kind of personality is needed to get signed? Our voice and rants should be extra loud too? I mean is it a requirement so shout "Everybody Fucking Jump" on the stage?
The rest is upto you.
