For most of my production I use an MPC 1000, a hardware synth, and eventually record everything into ableton with a simple aux cord into my computers audio input. I'm constantly having to increase the decibel level of each track after I record it in even with my MPC and Synth set to their highest volume, leading to a muddier sound. My question is, with my current setup and wanting to play live, should I look into mixers or audio interfaces? Thanks in advance!
