I’m approaching my 30s and currently juggling a pretty chaotic routine 🥲 but learning to play the piano has been a lifelong dream of mine. For a long time, people have discouraged me, telling me that I’d struggle to memorize things or that I’ll never play as effortlessly as those who started as kids.
Honestly? I guess there’s some truth to that. But I just can’t let go of this desire to express myself through the keys…I sometimes feel like the piano understands me better than most people do, so I really want to learn its language in return.
Where do you guys think I should begin?
I’d be very grateful for any beginner advice, resources or words of wisdom you could share
