So I've taken 1 college music theory class, and I make beats / instrumentals. I have a decent understanding of basic music theory. I'm trying to learn how to play the keys better to create better melodies for my own music. Iv told you the reason why I want to get better, I don't want to learn just for reading or to play specific songs, I want to learn so I can create my own music.
[Where I'm at] - Right now I know chords and scales along with intervals but I do not have these set in stone, when I play I usually have to go over the key a few times like "WHWW..." I cant just see the key I'm in right off the bat, and can't remember every scale with the chords off the top of my head either, it takes me a few minutes of working it out, but I can work it out on my won nonetheless. I definitely need to go ever how to read again, I know the notes but they're not locked in. Hope that gives you an idea of where I'm at.
Iv been really looking for a good course and its difficult to find reviews on most, these are the ones I'm interested in as of now and I'm open to any other relevant recommendations and to hear what you think / experiences!
