I love music, it’s probably my favourite thing in the world.
I hit 19 years old recently and my whole life i’ve always wanted do art. I’m passionate about art and animation along with music, but during this quarantine i’ve realised that i’ve always forced myself to do art and deep down i’ve wanted to learn music more so than art as i’m more passionate about it.
I grew up in a poor environment with a poor family so i never got the chance to learn music or buy an instrument. I gave up on this dream that i wanted to learn music because i couldn’t do it, and now it’s come back to me.
I’m in college (UK) learning art and animation, but really i want to learn music but i feel like im stuck.
I know i’m young and my family isn’t in a rough position anymore. I want to learn guitar and all there is to music but i’m not sure if it’s too late as i don’t go to school anymore and i’m in a final year of college at art and animation.
Is there any way i can learn by myself at home? And if so, how? books? online? what kind of guitar should i get?
I’m also dyspraxic so my co ordination is wonky, but i won’t let it get in the way of my interests.
Thankyou for your patience reading this.
