Hey everyone,
I wanted to share my thoughts about actively listening to music. Most people listen to music in the background and use it as a ''mood maker''. Whereas while ''active listening'' you focus on the music. It is usually connected to a lot of thinking and/or disassembling and helps many professionals to improve. Active listening can help you to learn an instrument because you get to know the type of music you're listing to better. Also for producers it's one of the most important and most effective parts of learning music.
Just give it a try š
