My son plays clarinet with his elementary school band, and I want to find a few pieces of music that he can practice during the summer months. I've tried poking around on sites that sell music and sites with free music, and I've tried googling for particular songs that I know he likes. Most of the sheet music that I'm finding is a part to be played with other instruments (i.e., not fun to play alone), exceeds his capabilities (lower register naturals), or is kind of boring ("Oh Susanna" anyone?). I've spent too much time already without getting anywhere, and I feel like I'm doing this wrong; any tips on how to effectively find appropriate sheet music?
