I've playing piano for almost two weeks, after finding getting to know the very basics of piano, I started with the C Major Scale. Used a metronome and gradually increased the tempo. But for a while now, I can't really go faster than 90 or 100 BPM without making mistakes. I'm finding that I mainly make mistakes with fingers 4 and 5 on the right hand and fingers 1 and 2 on the left. I know these are the weak fingers but how do I improve the finger strength and stop making these mistakes?
I've yet to learn to play with two hands, even the C Major scale. My brain just stops working when I try to play with two hands. Some tips would be useful. Seeing little to no progress and just doing the same thing isn't helping me - I know I have to be patient but scales are pretty much the first thing to do and I can't play the C major scale at an acceptable standard.
TLDR; Beginner struggling with basic C Major scale, finding that I can't play faster than 90/100 MPM without making mistakes on both hands (separate), mainly because of the weakest fingers slowing it down and making mistakes (ring finger and pinky). Also have struggled with hands together with C Major Scale, tried using metronome
