Hi, I've recently gotten into synthwave and I want to make some tracks of my own but being new to all of this it's really hard to know where to start.
I've been playing to guitar for a little over 3 years and I'm familiar with some basic music theory (scales, making chords in a scale, chord progression, modes, ect...) and I have some experience with keyboards however I don't know much about making beats.
My main concern is finding a good and simple daw that can have a nice learning curve without sacrificing much functionality over a more "pro" daw. My main goal is to get started quickly and become comfortable with the daw so I can focus on composing the actual music rather than trying to figure out how to do something. I played around with fl studio for a bit but the ui seemed quite complicated and the abundance of tiny knobs and buttons made it rather unpleasant to navigate.
Sorry If I wasn't supposed to post this on the main subreddit, I didn't see a daily questions post so I just assumed this is acceptable here.
