I just read an Ableton article that states you should keep all of your sample libraries on one drive and all of your projects and temp recording folders, caches etc. on another.
Now I am wondering if it REALLY matters that my samples and projects are stored on different drives. I'm kinda an OCD bitch, and like to keep all of my Audio Production content on one dedicated drive, so I can bring one drive on the go with me that contains all of my shit. So would I see an increase in speed if I separated my sample libraries and project files onto different drives?
