So I have noticed that whenever I use white noise in my mix (and doing proper EQing) like layering it with a synth or using the noise oscillator of the synth itself, it sounds good as long I listen to the tracks that are directly rendered from the DAW. But whenever I compress the track to a lower quality (like 128 kbps mp3) or upload them in Soundcloud, I hear some annoying artifacts in the parts where noise was used.
I have been trying hard to figure out what's wrong, and why it only happens with white noise (or any term you name it) but failed. Can you provide any explanation and maybe some suggestions?
