Recently, Virtual Riot released an acapella for one of the songs off of his new album. I've been working on making a remix of it, but I feel like my drums are just a little bit off beat.
The strange thing is I dragged in a reference track and was able to get my drums to match up to the drums in the reference track perfectly, and I got the acapella to match up to the vocals in the track, but when I deactivate the reference track, the drums still feel like they don't fit the acapella, despite my drums and the acapella having the same placement that they do in the reference track.
Does anyone have any ideas? Could this be a simple fix of the acapella needing slight warping?
