I have Yamaha HS-08's in my studio and they sound absolutely great. I'll often mix to those, but when I test my mix in someone's car, or on my laptop, the mix sounds horrible.
I'm getting a monitor management interface so I can switch from the HS-08's to something else, and would love to switch to something like a car stereo, so I don't have to constantly bounce my track and test in a car :) Any recommendations on a pair of speakers that could complement the HS-08's (in a good/bad way)?
