Hey sorry if this is a kinda noob question but, I've been looking at how some producers 'build' their chords? And what I noticed is that they play the root note low in the bass.
For example they play a C Major Add 9 where they put the C down in the bass area and they they put E G B in the middle.
So I kinda get confused by this like do they only play C with their bass synth and then only play E G B with a chord synth? Or play C with their bass synth and C E G B with their chord synth.
Is it better to play C E G B with your chord synth with C still down in the bass area, because most of the time you are looking to highpass your chords right? Or should I make the chords so that C E G B are all in the middle and then I play another C down in the bass with my bass synth. So you would have a C in the middle area and then also a C down in the bass area but played by two different synths.
I hope this all made sense I tried to explain it as best as I could.
