Is anyone aware of a progressive high pass filter plugin or software?
Here's what I'm trying to accomplish:
I like making mixtapes, but I find it tedious to use songs that are all the same BPM. My idea was that I could use an assortment of BPMs in a mix if I progressively high pass the songs as they're crossfaded.
The way this would work is that the high pass filter would start out at a low frequency and then would get progressively higher. For instance, at the start, the filter would play 20Hz-20Khz. Five seconds later, it would play 30Hz-20Khz. Another five seconds, it would play 40Hz-20Khz.
Basically the low frequencies would be slooooowly filtered out.
I know this can be done in the analog realm very easily, but I was hoping to do this via some type of VST plugin or script. If I must, I'll write a script to do it in SOX, but I was hoping to avoid that.
