Hey everyone -
I recently purchased Ableton (and some VSTs like Serum) a little while ago, and have been messing around with all of it to learn. I can get some loops down which I think may sound decent -- I struggle with arranging and creating a full track, though. I've been browsing this sub and been reviewing a bunch of videos online. For some reason, I still get stuck and can't seem to break out and finish a full track. Is this common for a lot of people who first started? I'm assuming everyone's first tracks are going to suck then slowly get better.
My goal is to create stuff that sounds like this: - Nora En Pure - Morning Dew: https://open.spotify.com/track/6Bm5ptk6kHcZhxeaVF81QP?si=I-OLEiHYQc-CFvOeR30QCQ - Nora En Pure - Stockholm Tears: https://open.spotify.com/track/5QCgJTy4wPtSQcFpqKfjZf?si=645fKTvETESuHbW-jF5nlw - Belong - Matt Fax: https://open.spotify.com/track/20NiTuAcRD8XRv5R0MxbqR?si=n56lNKE7TYqpC8ikwxqErg
Does anyone have any suggestions on how to replicate the effects and sound from the above tracks (trying to create my own style, though) or have any really good tutorials? I've been searching and can't seem to find anything that quite match what I'm looking for.
Any help on how to break out from the session view into arrangement view, and be able to add effects in so it doesn't sound like one loop the whole time and more like a real track?
