Hey guys, I'm wondering how Bali Bandits've achieved their almost signature sounding low end and I'd like to hear your opinion about this. (ex. tracks "2 supermodels", "There for you (remix)", "Bonzo's juggling show" etc).
Their kick sounds super subby, yet there's enough puch in it to cut through the other sounds in the mix. Do you think it could be possibly made in Kick 2? It sound really non-organic.
Subbass is almost "invisible" for me in their tacks → I know it's there and I "feel" how fat it is, but esp with Bali Bandits lowend I am not able to split it from the rest of the bass "inside my head".
Sorry for this stupid description, but it really drives me crazy!
Thanks for your time.
EDIT: I use Beyerdynamic DT 990 PRO headphones
