Hey,
So with the great deals that have been going around, I decided to finally get myself a pair of JBL LSR305. I got them set up as best I could for the room I have according to the general instructions (away from the wall, triangle shape...). I turned them on, played a couple songs and realised there is missing low end. I know these are only 5" woofers, but I expected more. I originally came from some cheap Altec Lansing speakers that were paired with a sub. Now I am wondering if I should get a sub for these. From the research I have done, I guess I'm too used to consumer bass boosted systems, which is causing this suprise to me. However, I cannot mix the low end at all on the jbls (I mainly produce trap) as anything below 60-70hz is just too quiet. Was wondering if anyone else came accross this problem and if they had any solutions.
