Hi producers!
It's not sound design question it's question about reverb.
I'm trying to create the same huge reverb on my similar high pitch lead like this on drop 1:09: https://soundcloud.com/moshington/young-o-coming-thru-moshington-remix
But the reverb (in the example) seems so huge and doesn't destroy the mix. I'm trying to get the same result but so far it does not work out.
I tried to use different reverb VSTs: Ableton Stock Reverb, Valhalla Verb, TAL. + tried adding some saturation / compession, etc. and also tried to use it parallel and not.
On headphones it seems it sounds pretty good but on speakers there's not enough of "huge" feeling. If I continue to make it more wet it destroys all the mix.
I use Shure SRH 440 headphones and Logitech X-230 speakers (I know it's not studio monitors I don't have them so sometimes I just check the mixes on them comparing with reference tracks)
Any help please!
- Reverb VSTs, maybe some presets - Tips and tricks - Tutorials - etc.
Hope I'll find out the answer. Thank you!
