hey guys, I'm fairly new to recording guitars. but my setup is a Scarlett 2i4 and a standard guitar cable from my guitar straight into my audio interface. I've recorded my guitar into Ableton a few times before with no problems whatsoever. however randomly today the signal started to clip when recording. I'm not clipping in Ableton or on my audio interface. I have the "pad" function activated when I'm recording guitar. in Ableton I have the monitoring set to "in" as well. I'm not sure whats going on!
