I'm planning on trading my old Yamaha MM6 in for a new model come Boxing Day. I am looking for something with:
-Semi-weighted channel aftertouch
-Both knobs and faders; as many as possible (don't need pads; I have a Push 2)
-The ability to create and save mappings for individual Kontakt & Reaktor ensembles
-Decent durability (studio use only)
-The ability to easily switch between controlling software and hardware synths (like the Prophet 12 module that will one day be mine)
So far I've narrowed it down to:
-Akai MPK
-M-Audio Code
-Novation Impulse
-Arturia Keylab Pro
-SL Mk II (these last two are discontinued right?)
So - how are these options? Anything I overlooked?
