Hello. My goal on piano is to be able to play all triads and quadads (all chords apart from the jazzy ones, I want to play Add9, major6, 7sus2, etc.) And know their inversions off by heart. I am a pretty advanced guitarist and understand the circle of fifths and the scale degrees of each chord. What is the best way to go about learning all of these chords? Should I learn their arpeggios and learn the chords from their? Should I memorize every single chord by looking at it? Does a piano player ever just know a chord off by heart (i.e. if I asked a master pianist to play an Ab Dom7 2nd inversions could he do it in a second, or would he/she take a couple of seconds to figure out the correct fingering?)
Thank you in advance. Any insight is helpful .
