I was curious how some experienced producers felt on where I should focus my efforts while starting EDM music production. I realize both are important, but do you feel I should focus more on one or the other at the start. I recently purchased Ableton Standard for my DAW and do not have any VSTs currently.
Is there any sort of structure I should follow to be efficient in my time producing? I'm looking to create some Deep House Tracks. Any must have VSTs needed for starting out?
