EDIT I Accidentally deleted my thread right after posting it, now I'm spending 2 hours trying to format this POS
Hello,
So i've been toying around with this weird chord progression that I've been working on for a couple hours. Recorded a sample so that I could loop it and try and come up with a melody for it and just can't seem to figure out something melodic enough.
The current scale I experimented with was a G# bebop major scale. Which sounds fitting but currently everything I play on it sounds like a solo. I'm open to suggestions.
The Chord progression sounds like this: https://instaud.io/1d35

Maybe It's not the scale but my understanding of voicings/Note arranging/Note timing?
I am asking for any suggestions on recommended scales to try and experiment with so I may finally start working towards creating a melody. And or tips for how you'd go tackling such a progression by adding a melody.
Thank you for your time.
