I never liked much a genre than another. I like really everything that sound cool, and I only try to improve my understanding of everything ( and root of things ) so I was kind of lost for the first 2 years of producing, I m just trying to figure out everything now.
I m really into ..
Dubstep ( melodic, bass ) , Drum N bass ( neuro, old school, jump up, jungle etc.. ), Waves, Trap, ( 5 types of sub genre trap ), I really like some house/techno/ aswell ( bass/G house/ futur why not ), psytrance, trance, and I was a fan of rock/punk rock/metal when young, I even listened and I love aswell rap ( gangsta rap / chill / lofi ). you can add probably everything that sound cool
my favorit producer are : Alon Mor / Virtual Riot / KRNE / k?d ( for give you some of an idea, I like probably more like 100 artists but if I had to choose to speak of an artist to someone )
it's so hard to only love one genre, seriously I don't understand people who really are into one genre, and maybe 2 others quickly. how they can be all in one genre ?
I think it makes me kind of lost cause I try to learn root of every genre at the same time ( with mixing, mastering, and my daw, and music theory and arrangement and knowing how to play instruments )
I should focus on one thing to really get "good", but seriously, it's not genre that makes me pump and cry, it's only vibe and the whole music world
how do you deal with the envy to do everything ? or not being bored with something you're currently on, because you like everything. I try to really get into a vibe.. ( hardly ) I m easily bored
I end tracks ( but not about more than 2 min ), and on lucky day on the vibe grasp, and my track are like really messy about arrangement.
my nightmare is 2 days of hardcore, HOW THE FUCK CAN PEOPLE LISTEN THE SAME FUCKING THING FOR MORE THAN 2 HOURS ? ( I don't even talk how repetitive it is, yeh I know with mdma, but even with mdma, I can't, 5 minutes a day is perfect )
I wish there is more of dj who play like 5 genres in their set.
every one hate me when I start djing youtube at friend party ( in fact they like my taste ( depend of people tho ) but they hate really how I switch things ), cause I m switching to ultra chill trap to riddim drop without a once of pity sometimes I guess, and after that maybe this recent track I hear about .. G house ok if everyone wants it, ok , 25 seconds was cool, where is this wavy trap with the nice vocal again or maybe what.. what is that, is this cover again, ho yeh some melodic piano, I want this now.
Someone feel me, or I m lonely on this, how do you deal with this behavior guys :) ?
