Just got Serum last night, first purchase for my DAW. I was happy with Sytrus but just wanted something different and I am sooooo happy I did. Serum has been super badass so far, and has taken my sound to another level for sure. But I am having this fucked up issue where, any time I adjust any setting in Serum I have to click on the serum window again to be able to play with my keyboard. This happens any time I try to adjust a setting. As soon as I touch a knob my keyboard stops playing anything. This isn't a hardware issue, I have 16GB RAM and a relatively new i5 processor. I monitored my resource usage when playing and when adjusting and nothing spikes. I have tried reloading Serum, closing and reopening FL, reset the plugin settings, everything I could think of and nothing has worked. It's just frustrating because I don't know sound design, so being able to tweak settings while playing on my keyboard helps me hear what I am changing and how it sounds different. I have to turn a knob, then click on the window, then play to see how it sounds. The delay in knob turning to playing just makes it difficult to put this together. Anyone else have this issue? One thing I just thought of right this second is I am using FL x64, should I be running it in x32 for compatibility? I just figured x32 limits my RAM usage. why not run x64 if I can?
