I've been producing for about a year now and I was wondering if it really was important to learn mastering at this stage. As of right now, I working on improving my composition and mixing, since it's not even close to the level I want it to be at. So I figured that if I started to learn mastering, then it might delay my overall progress, especially since I'm just trying to finish a project right after another. Any suggestions and thoughts are welcome.
